Les Projecteurs de rallye et de course Cibié

When he founded the company in 1919, Léon Cibié could not have imagined the present strength of the Cibié brand.

Nearly a century later, Cibié is still unavoidably linked, in the collective imagination, with the automobile racing world. This is true of everyone and not merely those in the industry, and is the reason behind the brand’s international strength.

Cibié, whose reputation has been built by working with the leading racing and rally teams (Africa, Paris-Dakar rally, etc.), continues to build on it daily by partnering the major teams in their work via the design and development of high-technology equipment for racing cars.

Cibié, from the 70s to today, has always been present in the racing world, as in the Le Mans 24-hours where the race’s special characteristics place special importance on lighting, or in the rally world with the “Oscar lighting bar” cutting through the night and dazzling roadside spectators.

Night driving is highly demanding and tiring for rally drivers. Using high-performance headlamps and auxiliary lamps greatly increases their ability to maintain high speeds, even in the most difficult situations. Cibié auxiliary lighting products offer the nighttime driving safety and efficiency essential to both professional and non-professional drivers.
